Wool is a versatile and highly valued fiber that serves as a core fabric to a range of SABA clothing. Whether blended with silk, cashmere or cotton, wool features in a wealth of versatile and trans-seasonal SABA silhouettes.

This fabric is an excellent insulator that helps regulate body temperature by keeping you warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot. Wool also has natural wicking properties that draw moisture away from the body, keeping you both dry and comfortable.

This dynamic fibre has natural antibacterial properties that inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, keeping your clothing fresher for longer. Additionally, wool fibers are strong and resilient, making these garments durable and long-lasting. This key fibre is a natural, renewable resource that is biodegradable and environmentally friendly, making it a core favourite in our capsules.

How to Care for Wool

  • Always read the care label on your wool clothing for specific instructions from the manufacturer. Different wool blends have different care requirements.

  • After wearing your wool garments, hang them in a well-ventilated area to air them out. This helps to remove odors and allows moisture to evaporate.

  • Deal with stains as they appear by spot cleaning them with a mild detergent and cold water. Avoid using hot water as it can cause wool to shrink.

  • Hand washing is often the best method for cleaning wool garments. Use a gentle detergent specifically formulated for wool or delicate fabrics.

  • Avoid wringing or twisting wool garments as this can stretch or misshape them. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water by pressing the garment against the side of the basin or using a clean towel to blot out moisture.

  • Lay the wool garment flat on a clean towel to dry. Reshape it to its original dimensions and smooth out any wrinkles.

  • You can use a handheld steamer to refresh wool garments between washes. Hang the garment and gently steam it to remove wrinkles and freshen it up.

  • Store wool garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging heavy items on them, as this can cause them to stretch.

  • For wool garments that are heavily soiled or stained, or for items like and , consider taking them to a professional dry cleaner that specializes in cleaning wool.
